ALICE CLARK
The legendary album on Mainstream from 1972 by Alice Clark. "Never Did I Stop Loving You" and "Don't You Care" are massive LP-only modern soul / northern soul / funk scene spins, but there are lots of other great uptempo and ballad tunes on this LP as well.
This album was produced and arranged by Bob Shad (also responsible for sugar billy 's "super duper love", as covered by Joss Stone).
