BESSIE BANKS
bessie banks began her career singing Doo-Wop during the mid-'50s. In 1963, she recorded her first single do it now / (you should have been a) doctor on the label SPOKANE (#4009). This single was issued again on the Wand label a year later (#163).
Her husband, producer and singer "Larry Banks" wrote a song for her go now / it sounds like my baby who was a hit in 1964. Afterwards she recorded a few singles like i can't make it (without you baby) / need you on the "Verve" label and try to leave me if you can (i bet you can't do it) / ain't no easy way on the "Volt" label
In 1976, she released her rarest single including this great modern soul disco sound "don't worry baby the best is yet to come". On A-side, you can find a song again from her previous single.
If you are lucky you can also catch the promo single that included "Don’t You Worry Baby The Best It Yet To Come" on the both sides stereo/mono.
Besides, don't forget to listen to her following single baby you sure know how to get to me (stereo) / baby you sure know how to get to me (mono) that she released on the same label and the same year.
