ALEKE KANONU is an unknown Nigerian musician who played with numerous jazz artists in USA. For instance, he played on the Stanley Cowell's album entitled "Regeneration" on "Strata-East" in 1976.
In 1980, he recorded this fantastic afro-beat album with many great jazz musicians like "wynton marsalis".
The year later, Aleke released a 12" with Mr tolbert entitled happiness / nwanne, nwanne, nwanne.
