Very rare second album of Mike James Kirkland, this amazing vocalist was clearly influenced by the soul super star marvin gaye. This album includes the terrific soul tune "doin' it right" and hopefully, his both LP were reissued by "Luv' n' haight" label during the 90s'.

This album by Mike James Kirkland is a righteous soul classic, and has every element that makes a rare soul classic worth owning. There's great production (with lots of nice funky intros), great original songs (with a great, righteous vibe), and Mr. Kirkland's fantastic soulful voice. "Doin' It Right" is a sacred gem in the soul and rare groove canon. so rare!!!! EXCELLENT STUFF!!!!!
