Fantastic LP by French singer Eddy Mitchell, known for his love for American music. He is here accompanied by the Soul Brass, his terrific backing band. The gatefold LP includes a funny comic with a story on the musicians. Includes "Sunny", "Ordonne mais pardonne (Hold On I'm Coming)", "Quitte à tout perdre (Get It Together)" (from James Brown), "Le fou sur la colline (Fool On a Hill)" and the great "Tighten Up", a devastating soulful version of Archie Bell's classic, with mad work from engineer Bernard Estardy. Really rare, even in France, and very interesting French soul & groovy pop.
