Year not known but probably mid '70s. Incredible sounding funk 45 from Quebec Canada! The bone-crushing breaks and monster afro funk groove of SHAKO is so heavy and intense the track was comped by cult US diggers and funk collectors Kon & Amir for their recent compilation (The Kings Of Diggin') of rare breaks from around the world! No kidding, this is about as hard and funky as music can get! An absolute speaker-destroying groove that lets rip from the intro to the fade. Just check the jaw-dropping breaks on the intro, the super-raw basslines, outrageous percussion, male scat a la Daniele Patucchi - Red Lamp and those endless funky drums!
