damn sam the miracle man and the soul congregation
After meeting the producer "Jack Taylor", O.C "the Miracle Man" Tolbert and Jack gathered some other musicans out of Detroit in order to create their "Soul congregation". Their music sounds like a fierce raw funk, pummeling funky drums and snapping electric congo without forgetting a nice roaring voice. O.C. and Jack have only released one album together, however, they have also recorded singles and 12" for other labels using name of tolbert or rev. o.c. tolbert and the blues congregation or king diamond. This album consists of many Heavy Funk tracks such as "BJ", "Give Me Another Joint", "Let Me Be Your Only Man", ... and also the soulful "Poor Mary".
