Eugene Smiley is a great artist who played all kind of music ranging from Blues with his band "Mighty BWB Show Band" to Soul. After featuring vocalist for his first soul band visitors in the 60s and early 70s, Eugene decided to leave the label "Dakar Records" to perform with different soul stars such as Johnnie Taylor, Al Green, Rufus Thomas, Bobby Womack, Al Green, the Stylistics, Eddy Kendrics, The Chi-lites, .... In 1978, he formed the band "The Essence Of Love" and established with Keith Montgomery and Albert White their own label "K-City Record". They released 2 great singles : - We're Lovers Day and Night / Yes, it's you - (I want to) Share My Love with you" / Marry Me
