This single was released by a 5-member slimmed down Paradise group in 1984, who had previously released three albums to date, such as paradise , world's midnight , love is the answer . This is a very impressive funky version of the Beetles Classic but only managed to chart in the UK in the mid-80's position.
This was the follow-up to the 1983 Top 40 hit 'One Minds Two Hearts' which perfomed much better. The group at this stage were without major singer and songwriters Doug Williams, Raymond Dennis and Devon Burke. paul johnson Falsetto is of course very impressive and would be the last for this group before he departed the following year to persue a solo career.
On B-side, you have also the tune "with you" that you could find on their previous album love is the answer .

Paradise represented a unique subgenre of UK Black gospel music which was influenced by the 70's Giants such as Commodores and Earth Wind and Fire.Goups such as Kainos, Clarity and InnerVision rejected the traditional approach to gospel music and adopted Funk as their vehicle.
