Let me introducing to you the rarest album I've got in my vault ! "Sanctuary and The Dougler Boys" who recorded only one album on their private label "Sanctuary productions" from Phoenix, in 1981-82.
I like this album because you can listen to different kinds of groovy music. On side Three (no side 1 & 2 ?!?): "The Pledge" the most heavy funk track of the album, "How can I Forget" a great modern soul. On side Four: "Baby don't make me no Fool" a great funky 80s tune, "Cloudy Day In May" a soul instrumental with flute, "It ain't boogie" a killer tune mixing jazz-funk & boogie and "Creole" a great jazzy tune.
The drummer-vocalist Cordell Conway, co-founder of this group" performed with Tina Turner, Little Richard, The Isley Brothers, Patti LaBelle and many others. He signed his own album in 2003 "How Much Time ?"

"How Can I Forget You" is one of the standout tracks on this album. However, for me, the album is a little all over the place for my tastes. I appreciate the variety but it throws you in and out of a mood while listening to it and it doesn't create any real consistency.
