In 1980, the original members of Funkadelic FUZZY HASKINS, GRADY THOMAS and CALVIN SIMON left the group to record this opus without current P-funk players, like George Clinton, himself.
This album was issued firstly with the title "42,9%, because the original members of Funkadelic FUZZY HASKINS, GRADY THOMAS and CALVIN SIMON own 42,9% of the name "Funkadelic".
After this short story, the Label "Lax Records" issued this record as "Connections & Disconnections".
