Took me a second listen to really enjoy this album. Disco fused jazz music, good for the dancefloor or just for the listen. Not so commercial/club influenced like his later "Super Mann" work he did with Patrick Adams, but still rhythmically exciting. Every track is a winner, including the nice take on "Pick up the pieces" and "Lady Marmalade."
