Here we have a 1979 release from Canterbury band,Gizmo. The music is progressive rock in a similar mould to Caravan, who also hail from Canterbury. The album was recorded at Oakwood studios in Kent, and the tracklisting is as follows:- Gravity Brings You Down/Long Gone Song/Storyteller/Those Lying Eyes/Kismet/Hour Glass/Not That Far To Go/Come The Day/Dance Of The Emmets/One And One Is Two.Because the record was produced locally,it does not have the usual kind of sleeve. The sleeve is a paper fold out one (see my photo). It has some minor storage wear on the edges, and some ringwear caused by the vinyl pressing against the sleeve (it is quite thin paper). When you open the sleeve up,the lyrics to the songs are printed on the inside. The LP itself is in white vinyl.I personally know two of the band members,Dave Radford, the vocalist, and Maurice Memmott, the keyboard and violin player, and they are good musicians. If you like 70`s prog, this could be of interest to you.
