"Earth Blossom" is an excellent spiritual acoustic 70's jazz title. Stylistically the album is slicker and more polished than other strata-east titles. At worst, the guitar and sax playing veer dangerous close to pre-smooth jazz. At best, the tracks evolve from simple vamps and themes into music more sublime and meaningful. Definitely one of those albums you need to be in the mood for. It also notably features "Ode to Ethiopia," a popular Gilles Peterson spin.
