Singer and bandleader Tommy Olivencia was a pioneer in the evolution of Puerto Rican salsa music.This LP opened a new era for Tommy Olivencia and for salsa, literally: his first effort for TH records (then recruiting salsa bands from the island) cemented his success for the group for the next ten years, as he turned in one successful LP after the other
