a good album. very R&B/black power influenced. i think this is a better example of populism hitting the free jazz scene than say "new grass" by albert ayler, which is often rated higher. and how can i argue with a record made with acknowledgment of the millions incarcerated in the united states, devoid of any human rights. plus...william kuntsler appears on the album!
