This album contains instrumental songs that are based on traditional Umbanda and Candomblé (both are Afro-brazilian religions) cerimonial chants, usually supported exclusively by percussion instruments, but here performed by a sextet of trombone, clarinet, electric guitar and bass, drums & percussion.
