Baba Yaga were a very obscure German group who released two albums in 1974, of which neither have much in common with each other.Ingo Werner's parallel attempt to Baba Yaga's debut sounds like a completely different project.Werner's keyboards meet with Iranian percussionist/string instrumentalist Nemat Darman for two sidelong tracks, the first being exotic Ethnic Music with ambiental soundscapes and cosmic electronic backgrounds, heavily relying on santoor, the second one sounds like a mix of electronic sequencers and Jazz Fusion with heavy synth loads and percussion, while having a slight Kraut Rock-ish flavor.A unique album that lives up to its title, blending together Indian, jazz, electronic, and some prog elements, though not all at once, but in sequence.
