Born in Marocco, Vigon was fascinated by R'n'B singers ... Installed in France in the sixties, he became our local James Brown, not a flat copy, no no, a real soul man that shared the stage w/ US funk and R'n'B monsters such as Otis Redding, totally impressed by the feeling of Vigon ... who by the way sung in english without speaking the language !
On this LP, you have a mellow side and a hard funk / R'n'B side with many monster tracks.
Essential LP if you're interrested by european soul funk records. one of the best finally reissued .. and anyway practically impossible to find in OG copy.
