Spargo was formed in Amsterdam 1979: Ruud Mulder (g), Ellert Driessen (v, o, p), Jef Nassenstein (b) and Leander Lammerink (dr). They became successful with their brand of funk-rock after Lilian Day-Jackson (ex-Hans Dulfer and Solat).
