First pressing (promo copy) of this great Northern soul tune "love you baby" released on the "Jack Ashford" 's label. For information, Jack was a former percussionist with Motown's legendary session band the "Funk Brothers". This single was accompanied by "Billy Sha-Rae and the soul congress band who have also recorded their own versions of both eddie parker 's hits :"Love you baby" and "I'm gone".
