Eddie Sullivan had begun his singer career with some bands as "The Enchanters" & "The Desideros" & "The Four Gents" which were composed by different future members of the 'Hi-lites" and the chi-lites such as "Marshall Thompson", "Creadel Jones", ....
When "Lock" collapsed in 1970 even if they signed a few hits with The lovelites, Eddie Sullivan founded his own band classic sullivans (the) with his two sisters Lorraine & Barbara Sullivan. In 1971, they started to record their rarest single shame, shame, shame / we can make it on Master Key Records. In 1973, They released 2 singles on Kwanza Records a ring don't mean a thing / right before my eyes and my favourite with "You're Gonna Paint Yourself In A Corner".
